Last month in our Bio Bio guest house we had some wonderful visitors.
Coco Pacheco, Daniel Greve and Matías Palomo, came for a weekend to film Daniel’s tv show “Mosto TV”. Daniel is a wine & gastronomic chronicler and journalist, while Coco and Matías are very renowned Chilean chefs, owners of restaurants like “Aqui está Coco” y “Sukaldi”.
This TV show is all about food, wine and spending some beautiful moments with friends and that is what they did in Bio Bio. They went through the vineyards with our viticulturist Carlos Carrasco, who showed them beautiful scenery and explained the unique characteristics of this cool terroir, and also had a barrel tasting with our winemaker Louis Vallet where they got to discover Veranda’s great expression of terroir.
For the tv show we set up a kitchen in the vineyards next to the Bureo river, surrounded by the most inspiring stage they cooked delicious plates with local ingredients like rabbit, and sierra fish, and lamb, always with the excellent company of our Veranda wines.
